Experiments Science of Bubbles

Discover the science behind bubbles, learn what a bubble is and what molecules it’s made up from.

Your group will examine the properties of the bubble through a series of hands-on bubble experiments and interactive team games. In particular, they will examine:

  • The shapes bubbles form

  • If they float or sink

  • Why they do or don’t pop

  • Whether bubbles have colours and how light waves affect this

Finally, using our simple bubble recipe, every child will be able to mix their own pot of bubbles to take home with them.

Age: 4 to 13 years (Infants, Junior and Secondary Schools).
